How We Help After Your Appointment
Following an at-home euthanasia appointment, we can help facilitate the respectful transport of your pet to one of the cremation centres we work closely with across the region.
If needed, we are also able to keep your pet in our care overnight or over the weekend until cremation can take place. Many families find comfort in knowing their pet remains safe, cared for and treated with dignity during this time.
Our goal is to reduce pressure on families which allow space to focus on grieving and being together.
Working Closely With Trusted Cremation Centres
We work closely with three trusted cremation providers who share our commitment to compassionate aftercare for pets.
Once arrangements are made, the cremation centre will contact you directly to discuss your preferences, memorial options and the return of your pet’s ashes. This gives families time to process everything without feeling rushed into immediate decisions.
Most cremation providers also offer the option of returning your pet’s ashes directly back to your home, allowing families to remain in the comfort and privacy of their own space.
Giving Families Time & Space
We understand that every family grieves differently. Some people prefer to make decisions immediately, while others need more time to process the experience.
There is no right or wrong way to approach this stage. Our role is simply to support you, provide guidance where needed and help ensure your pet is treated with the same care and respect after passing as they were throughout their life.
